In the Name of God Amen I John Baskett of Ilmington in the County of Warwick Butcher being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will & Testament in manner and form following that is to say ffirst I give and bequeath unto Betty Baskett the Widow of my son John Baskett deceased the sum of fifty pounds Also I give and bequeath unto Ann John Elizabeth Hester & Mary Baskett Children of my said son John Baskett deceased the sum of ffifty pounds each Also I give and bequeath unto Joseph and Elizabeth Baskett Children of my son Joseph Baskett deceased the sum of ffifty pounds each Also I give and bequeath unto Robert Ann John and Sarah Hornsby sons and daughters of my daughter Ann Hornsby deceased the sum of ffifty pounds each Also I give unto my son in law Robert Hornsby the sum of two Hundred Pounds to be paid to them and each of them respectively by my Executor hereinafter named at the end of one year after my decease Also I give devise & bequeath unto my son James Baskett all that my ffreehold messuage or tenement Blacksmiths shop Orchard and Garden with their and every of their Appurts situate and being at Oxhill in the said County of Warwick and now in the occupation of Joseph Wardin as Tenant thereof To hold the same and every part and parcel thereof unto my said son James Baskett his heirs and assigns for ever And all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Persona Estate and Effects Monies and securities for money whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or sort soever the same may be after the Payment of my just debts ffuneral and testamentary expences I give devise and bequeath to my said son James Baskett his Heirs Executors Admors & Assigns to and for his and their own use and benefit And Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son James Baskett the whole and sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament And I do hereby utterly revoke disallow and disannul All former Wills and Legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made declaring ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will & Testament written and contained in one sheet of Paper set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five The mark X of John Baskett

Further Grant 20 May 1858 Admon with Will annexed of the Personal Estate and Effects of John Bassett late of Ilmington in the County of Warwick Butcher who died on 22 January 1837 at Ilmington aforesaid granted to Elizabeth Surry (Wife of Thomas Surry formerly Probin (Wife of Henry Probin) and Mary Ann Agg (Wife of Thomas Agg) the Daughters and Administratrixes to the Estate of James Baskett deceased James Baskett having died intestate
